How to take curcumin. Curcumin benefits are ample. These 7 tips help you to take curcumin correctly to see curcumin health benefits sooner. How to Take Curcumin. Check out this curcumin ►🤍 Camera I use ►🤍 What is Turmeric Turmeric, sometimes called Indian saffron or the golden spice is a spice that comes from the turmeric plant. The same family as ginger, the zingerberaceas. You probably know turmeric as the main spice in curry. It has a warm, sort of bitter taste and is frequently used to flavor or color curry powders, mustards, butter, and cheese. Its been used in India and parts of Asia as a medicinal herb and spice for thousands of years. Is curcumin the same as turmeric The main active ingredient in turmeric is called curcumin. It has powerful anti-inflammatory effects and it is a very strong antioxidant. Unfortunately though, curcumin is both poorly absorbed by the body and there is not enough of it in turmeric in the first place, which is why supplementation is needed to get the full benefits. How to take curcumin correctly 1.) Look for “phytosome technology”. A popular one here: is thorns meriva curcumin thats soy free. Meriva works by bonding the curcumin extract with phospholipids, which leads to better absorption than other curcumin extracts on the market. It can potentially, lead to 29 times greater absorption in the body compared to standard curcumin extracts can be seen in both Curcumin vs turmeric supplements. 2.) Pay attention to your dose. Some doctors commonly recommend the standard 500 milligrams twice daily with food, but the dose that’s right for you really depends on your overall health. So keep in mind, more is not always better. Even though its safe to take up to 8 grams per day, its best to keep within the 500 mg to 1000 mg when you start off. 3.) Start low and gradually build up. Most people are going to tolerate turmeric pretty well but keep in mind having an allergy or intolerance is possible, so If you have a target dose in mind that you or your doctor has told you to reach, it may be best to start at the lowest dose and work your way up. 4:) Be picky when it comes to finding a good supplement. You don’t have to go with the one i recommend in the description below, but make sure its one with a few inactive ingredients and fillers as possible. 5:) Don’t stock up on them. They tend to go bad when it is repeatedly exposed to air. So Store them in a cool, dark place. 6:) Don’t stop your medicines. This is a big one. Turmeric is supposed to help supplement the conventional care you already have, it is not to be substituted for medicine that is prescribed to you. 7.) You got to listen to your body. Curcumin might not be for everyone, especially if you have bile duct obstructions or gallstones, bleeding disorders, diabetes, and GERD. So please please discuss using it with your doctor before trying it. Also some formulations of turmeric and curcumin can make you feel bloated, so listen to how your body reacts to it. Curcumin for inflammation is another reason so many people use this supplement. Turmeric dosage // How much turmeric should I take daily?

Turmeric Dosage // How much turmeric should I take daily? Turmeric is known for its vibrant yellow color and unbelievable health benefits. Interestingly, curcumin, the component of turmeric that gives turmeric its characteristic color, also happens to be the component credited for nearly all the health benefits of turmeric. Though estimates vary, it has been established that curcumin accounts for roughly 3-4% of the mass of turmeric. With curcumin in the spotlight, many supplement companies isolate and sell curcumin, ignoring the other components of the turmeric root. There is a bit of a problem, however. Curcumin is poorly absorbed and quickly metabolized. To combat this problem, many supplement producers also employ mechanisms to enhance the bioavailability of curcumin. The most common example is the addition of piperine, a component of black pepper that accounts for approximately 5% of black pepper’s mass. Research has demonstrated that the co-administration of 20 mg of piperine (or around 400 mg of black pepper) boosts the bioavailability of curcumin by 20X. However, this is merely the tip of the iceberg. Prasad et al. (2014) identified 46 different bioavailability-enhanced curcumin formulations. While bioavailability-enhancing mechanisms may represent a prime opportunity for supplement companies to establish a unique selling proposition, a good pharmacist would ask this question: Is it safe to take a spice like turmeric, known for its surprising health benefits, isolate the component credited for all the health benefits, administer that component in massive doses, and then boost that component’s availability in the bloodstream by 20X? Let’s try to find out. REFERENCES Cao J, Jia L, Zhou HM, Liu Y, Zhong LF. Mitochondrial and nuclear DNA damage induced by curcumin in human hepatoma G2 cells. More Videos about Curcumin: ▶️ 🤍 ▶️ 🤍 Let’s talk about curcumin. Curcumin is the main polyphenol or phytonutrient in the spice turmeric. Benefits of curcumin: • It has powerful antioxidant properties • It’s a powerful anti-inflammatory • It can be effective for exercise-induced inflammation • It may help with muscle soreness • It may help with exercise recovery • It may help with arthritis • It may help with anxiety • It has been shown to be effective for metabolic syndrome • It may be effective for degenerative eye conditions The only problem is that curcumin doesn’t absorb well in the body. Turmeric or Indian saffron is originates from Curcuma longa a plant native to Asia and now grown in humid, tropical areas throughout the world. Turmeric, a botanical, sold as an herbal supplement ranks among the most widely used dietary supplements. Turmeric has a long history of use in Ayurvedic medicine for conditions ranging form asthma and liver disease to allergies and rheumatism. Unfortunately scientific validation fails to substantiate the majority of medical claims made for turmeric. Active medical components of turmeric root seem to be limited to the small concentration of curcuminoids of which curcumin remains the most abundant. Volatile essential oils provide flavor while the yellow turmeric root finds use in coloring butter, macaroni and cheese. Proponents hype turmeric and curcumin for preventing and treating a variety of cancers. One of the leading researchers in the area worked at the famed M. D. Anderson Cancer Clinic in Houston. He published more than 500 papers several of which were cited more than 1000 times each. Then a whistleblower alleged data manipulation and major journals retracted papers and others issues corrections. So much for the cancer benefits. Turrmeric may bind iron in the intestine leading to iron deficiency and anemia. Lead contamination regularly occurs and the commercial product often contains remnants of cancer causing chemicals and toxic solvents. Bacteria may be present in turmeric supplements. Perhaps counter-intuitively the less expensive products may contain laboratory synthesized curcumin substituted for the natural product.

Let’s talk about the incredible potential health benefits of turmeric and how to increase the bioavailability of turmeric. You can consume organic turmeric or take a supplement. If you want to take a supplement, it’s best to get a turmeric supplement and not just curcumin. Curcumin is only one of many phytonutrients in turmeric. It’s also important that it’s a freeze-dried supplement. Black pepper or white pepper can help you increase the absorption of turmeric. You can also consume a small amount of fat at the same time for better absorption. Keep in mind that the phytonutrients in turmeric are heat sensitive, so cooking with turmeric could make them less potent. The two main areas of research for turmeric are inflammation and cancer.
