1. Use the Yoke Connector Cable provided to connect the yoke to the switch panel. You can find the inputs behind the right side of the yoke handle and on the right side of the base near the 5 position ignition switch. 2. Center the yoke above the mounting plate and adjust placement until the yoke is fixed on to the mounting anchor. Slide the yoke back to lock into place. On the rear of the yoke, you will find two screw Locks. Begin to tighten until the screws are embedded within the mounting plate to complete the installation. 3. Connect the USB to the rear of the yoke and then connect to your PC or Mac 4. Use the button on the back to enable the adjustable cockpit lighting with 6 different intensity settings of light. 5. To detach yoke from the mounting plate, unscrew the screw locks on the rear end of the yoke and slide forward to release the yoke off the mounting anchor for detachment. Dual Mounting Solution: The Dual Mounting Solution allows for full use with or without clamps. Two heavy-duty clamps made of steel attach and secure the yoke. For thicker tabletops, A large 3M® Micro-Suction Pad that produces 40lbs of tensile strength can be used for a clamp free solution. Large 3M® Micro-Suction Pad Installation: Find the desired location you would like to place your yoke. Wipe down and clean the surface area before installation. Remove the plastic covering from the 3M® Micro-Suction Pad and position the mounting plate in the correct orientation. Press down firmly on the entire mounting plate surface until fully secure. To detach, Lift the two detachment levers on the mounting plate to create space between the table surface and the plate. Use the space created to slowly begin lifting the mounting plate off the table until completely detached. CLEANING: To clean the Micro-Suction Pad, wash with soap and water using either your hand or a brush to keep tensile strength to its original form. When cleaning, do not use cloth or paper material that will deteriorate as this will be difficult to remove and cause loss of resistance. When the Micro-Suction Pad is not in use, reapply the plastic covering to preserve quality and condition. This video is to discus and review the Honeycomb Aeronautical Alpha Yoke one year after my initial review. The Alpha is still my go to yoke! I have had one little hiccup with the Alpha but it proved to not be the fault of the Alpha. I would highly recommend the Alpha Yoke or the Alpha XPC to anyone looking for flight sim components that are reliable, realistic, and functional. As a heads up, this video like 90% of my other videos is shot in one long take. There are minor mistakes here and there, but the points are made the way I wanted. In this ASMR unboxing video I show you the new Alpha Flight Controls from Honeycomb. At the end of the video I will briefly show you the Alpha Flight Controls in action. I am very satisfied with the quality and accuracy of the flight controls. The switch panels work perfectly with Microsoft Flight Simulator and if you want to fly a bit at night, the built-in LEDs are really good. The Alpha Flight Controls are excellent in terms of appearance and quality for this price. I will also unpack the Bravo Throttle Quadrant from Honeycomb and also test it briefly as soon as I receive the delivery of Honeycomb. So stay tuned and subscribe so you don't miss the next unboxing. I designed and built this simulator on wheels using aluminum extrusion, 6mm PVC plastic walls, dual adjustable racing seats, the Simionic G1000 avionics suite, and the Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo flight controls. I'm currently running XPlane and MSFS 2020. If you're interested in building something similar, I will freely share my design and encourage you to go for it. It's so worth it. Just tell them to repeat my order and have everything cut to size. I used ½” MDF board to cutout the panel which is primed and painted. The floor is ¾” MDF board, which is primed and then covered using adhesive backed carpet squares.

This video will teach you how to setup the custom switches for the Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant in Microsoft Flight Simulator. It is a follow up to this video: 🤍 As of Flight Sim version 5 when binding switches (including lever detents) now you need to flip the switch on for the input to be sensed, but then turn the switch off before validating it, or the validation will freeze. Additionally, when testing a switch the fields don’t turn white and dark anymore, but they will work.
